Each year, the XP team try to get actively involved with client initiatives. We love a bit of friendly competition, especially if it’s for a good cause! Check out some of what we’ve been up to.

Fair Food Volunteering

Some of our Auckland team were privileged to spend the day supporting Fair Food with their food sorting efforts.

More than $3 Billion in food is wasted in NZ households. But thanks to Fair Food, instead of going to waste, this kai is now on its way to local families who need it, to the kitchen, or to the compost. 

We’re honoured to have played a small part in the incredible work Fair Food does every day to make a difference

XP Donates to APO for 4th year in a row

We're proud to have been able to donate a laptop to our friends at the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra for auction at their event last week, The Phil Gala: Music That Moves.

As long-time admirers of their incredible work, it's an honour to contribute in a small way to an evening that inspired many and make a significant difference in the arts sector.

SPCA Cupcake Day

We had a bake-off for SPCA Cupcake Day! 
The staff got creative and decorated some amazing cupcakes. 

This competiton was to help SPCA continue their amazing work of caring for over 33,000 animals each year.  We raised $186 to contribute to a total $50,000! We love getting involved with our clients causes (especially when it includes a yummy snack)

Sunshine Coast Half Marathon

Our very own Christi, Marsha, and Barend from the Senior Leadership Team crossed the finish line at the Sunshine Coast Half Marathon and 10K!🏅

By taking part, they supported the fundraising efforts for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, contributing to the collective achievement of raising over $200,000.

Pink Shirt Day

XP celebrated Pink Shirt Day by wearing pink shirts to stand against bullying, and instead promote kindness and inclusion. We recognise and celebrate our differences and wanted to take this opportunity to encourage creating a safe and supportive work environment for everyone.

XP Supports RSA on ANZAC Day

 We are proud to support our client, RSA, during their Poppy Day appeal. As part of our commitment, we are buying their Anzac biscuits. Supporting the RSA means contributing to the wellbeing of New Zealand's veterans of military service and their family.

November 2023

Movember

XP staff either grew a moustache, or moved for Movember, and walked or ran over 60km each throughout November. We had six staff getting behind the cause walking a total of 495 km and two awesome moustachios.

We're proud to say we raised $1328 dollars to towards research and programs addressing men’s health.

We would like to thank everybody who donated, and celebrate the staff at XP for getting involved with such a good cause.

At XP, we are thrilled to extend a helping hand to the amazing Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra! 🎵 Their silent auction kicks off on August 17, 2023. This wonderful event will fundraise for children's music education, and we're truly honoured to play a part in empowering the next generation of music enthusiasts!

We are crazy about coffee. That's why we are proud to support Common Good Coffee by buying their coffee beans for our New Zealand office. They help the world's most vulnerable communities by donating $5/KG sold Keep up the good work!

SPCA Treatweek

This year, we indulged in cupcakes and shared our beloved animal tales while celebrating Treat Week with the SPCA. We're all about supporting the fantastic initiatives our pals at the SPCA roll out, and you can bet we'll be there for the next one too!
